Atlantis Casino Resort Spa
Reno’s award-winning, all-in-one resort destination
Las Vegas isn’t the only destination where
groups can meet for work and play. Recently
named the top casino outside of Las Vegas by
USA Today, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno
is also a full-service hotel directly connected
to the 500,000-square-foot Reno-Sparks
Convention Center. More media outlets are
taking notice as well — in 2015, the property
became an Expedia.com Best of +VIP Access
hotel, awarded to the top fifth of Expedia’s
global +VIP Access collection, which has more
than 1,800 +VIP Access hotels worldwide.
With a 60,000-square-foot casino,
30,000-square-foot Spa Atlantis, and 50,000
square feet of meeting space, the AAA Four-Diamond hotel offers a flexible, all-in-one venue that meets all of a meeting planner’s needs.
Two ballrooms — one with 14,000 square
feet and another with 12,000 — and all of
the resort’s meeting rooms and prefunction
space are on the second level. Those spaces
come backed by a talented team who work
hand-in-hand with planners for the perfect
event. Atlantis is also the only hotel in Reno
to offer direct access to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Connected via a covered sky
bridge, the Reno-Sparks Convention Center
has a half-million square feet of total meeting
and event space, including 381,000 square
feet of contiguous exhibit space that breaks
down into five halls, a 30,000-square-foot
ballroom, and 53 meeting rooms.
Atlantis has more than just meeting space;
the hotel has curated a diverse menu of
team-building activities for groups, ranging
from Jeep obstacle courses to wine-pairing
classes. For example, Atlantis recently brought
in a local newspaper editor to judge a group’s
cooking competition, who then wrote about
the experience and gave the group extra
publicity. Nearby attractions in Reno can also
serve as off-site venues, like Breakthrough
Reno, where groups must work together to
figure out how to escape a locked room.
As for amenities, the options are plentiful and varied. Spa Atlantis offers treatments
from across the world, such as Rasul Ceremony, an ancient bathing ritual, and the
Hanakasumi Body Ritual, an ancient Japanese
tradition. Groups can relax in one of many
coed lounges, like the Brine Inhalation Light
Down time Spa Atlantis at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa encourages guests to extend
their experience before or after their treatment in one of three relaxation lounges, or
with lunch by the pool.
