ATLANTIC CITY
Tropicana Casino & Resort
Atlantic City
Refreshed rooms and entertainment mark a fresh start in 2016
This year is significant for Tropicana Casino
& Resort Atlantic City. Not only is 2016 the
year that Tropicana celebrates 35 years of
operating in Atlantic City, it also marks the
completion of a $50-million renovation that
added a number of new entertainment and
leisure experiences to the 14-acre property.
Encompassing a 2,079-room hotel, 122,000
square feet of meeting space, 125,000 square
feet of gaming, and dozens of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, Tropicana is
a true all-in-one destination for groups.
Tropicana’s 2,079 guest rooms make it
one of New Jersey’s largest hotels. Guest
rooms are spread across four towers — North,
South, West, and Havana — with each offering
their own unique views and perks. For example, the 504-room Havana Tower comes with
45,000 square feet of hospitality suites and
meeting space. And after a comprehensive
renovation last year, all 464 rooms in the
North Tower now feature glass-enclosed
showers, 42'' flat-screen TVs, in-room safes,
refrigerators, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Tropicana hosts more than 600 meetings
per year in its 122,000 square feet of meeting
space, which comes backed by an experienced team of CMPs. In the Havana Tower,
45,000 square feet of function space includes
20,400 square feet of space on the fourth
floor as well as four boardrooms on the 68th
floor. In the North and South Towers, 54,000
square feet of total function space includes
the 20,000-square-foot Grand Exhibition
Center and a pillar-free, 18,000-square-foot
ballroom. In addition, Tropicana’s entertainment venues — the 2,000-seat Tropicana
Showroom and the 300-seat IMAX Theatre
at the Tropicana — can serve as alternative
venues for meetings and presentations.
For nightlife and shopping, The Quarter and The
Marketplace at Tropicana
are the only destinations
attendees need to know.
Besides nine bars and
nightclubs, The Quarter
and The Marketplace offer
24 combined retail stores
ranging from local staples
such as James’ Salt Water
Taffy to global brands Tumi
and Godiva. For diversions
of a slower pace, Tropicana
offers the new two-story
AtlantiCare LifeCenter Fitness center, blue-mercury spa & resort apothecary, and The
Salon at Tropicana.
