ATLANTIC CITY
Resorts Casino Hotel
New high-tech meeting space, same classic Atlantic City vibe
The first resort to bring gaming to Atlantic
City — it opened in 1978 — Resorts Casino
Hotel has played an integral role in shaping
the destination. And as Atlantic City evolves
into a more meetings-focused destination,
Resorts Casino Hotel continues to play that
pivotal part with the recent openings of a
new conference center and the Margaritaville entertainment complex.
The September 2015 opening of the
technologically advanced, all-digital Resorts
Conference Center has added 12 more con-
ference rooms, totaling 12,000 square feet
of meeting space, to the resort. The show-
piece of the conference center is the Atlantic
Ballroom, a 6,500-square-foot
space that comes with a multi-
use prefunction area and four
sets of operable walls. The conference center
offers Wi-Fi capable of handling up to 500
attendees using multiple devices simultane-
ously. In each of the 12 conference rooms,
built-in 90-inch LED display monitors with
full 1080p resolution, drop-down screens,
and cinema quality DLP projection help to
keep productivity high. In total, the property
offers 64,000 square feet of usable func-
tion space, including four ballrooms and 24
meeting rooms; 17 of those meeting rooms
are located on the same floor, and 14 feature
natural light and ocean views.
Resorts Casino Hotel spans 11 acres on
the Atlantic City Boardwalk, giving its guests
prime oceanfront views and easy access to
the beach. Its two hotel towers offer a com-
bined total of 942 guest rooms (at 525 square
feet, the largest in Atlantic City) along with an
83,000-square-foot casino; two theaters; six
restaurants; an indoor/outdoor pool; a health
club, spa, and salon; and retail shops. In addi-
tion, Resorts Casino Hotel has five eateries
within the casino’s Quick Bites Food Court.
Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville entertainment
complex, which includes the Margaritaville
Café and beachfront LandShark Bar & Grill,
is also located on the property.
