Since Irvine lies at the geographical heart
of Orange County, the city puts meeting
attendees in a prime position to visit all of
the Southern California attractions on their
must-see list. But what meeting planners
also love is the robust collection of a;ordable hotels around John Wayne Airport (SNA).
Twelve properties in the area (none of which
lie within direct ;light paths) o;er complimentary airport shuttles to SNA, as well as a grand
total of 153,300 square feet of indoor and
outdoor meeting space.
That list of hotel options is growing, too.
The 161-room Homewood Suites by Hilton
Irvine John Wayne Airport opened in Janu-
ary, with an outdoor pool, ;itness center, and
indoor game room. The AC Hotel Irvine is
anticipated to open this spring with 176 guest
rooms, 788 square feet of meeting space, and
a second-;loor pool and terrace. Guests can
also visit the hotel’s AC Lounge for cocktails
and Puesto restaurant for a quick bite. In May,
Hyatt House Irvine/John Wayne Airport will
debut with 149 guest rooms, 1,000 square
feet of meeting space, and the HBAR restau-
rant and bar.
